Guest guest
I found this recipe and easily adjusted it to vegetarian and it is so quick and easy. I serve this dish with a very large garden salad. My kids love this recipe alot and it is a good way to get finicky kids to eat their veggies ;o)!!! This recipe should only take about 5-10 minutes to prepare and then bake for 30... very simple. ENJOY ;o) Dressing Casserole >>1 pkg of ground beef (soy, of course) >>2 pkgs of Stove Top stuffing...sage flavored >>8oz of shredded cheddar cheese (regular cheese or tofu...either one works well) >>1 18.6oz can of Campbell Select Vegetable soup >>1 can of green beans (drained) (I have also used different canned veggies, but green beans tend to be the favorite) 1) Prepare the stove top directions for stuffing in a med pan. 2) In a large skillet mix the " ground beef " , soup, and beans and heat to boiling. 3) In a large casserole bowl layer the soup " mixture " and then part of the stuffing on top of that. 4) I then sprinkle a little cheese and then the rest of soup mixture on top of that. 5) I then add the rest of the cheese and then the very top layer should be the rest of your stuffing. 6) Then bake uncovered for about 30 minutes.
