Guest guest
I was hungry this morning and came up with this yummy recipe. My friend, who usually hates tofu, even thought this was tasty. Not to mention easy. Let me know what you think! Genie Tofu stuff 1 pckg. hard tofu, frozen, thawed and pressed 8 oz pkg. sliced mushrooms 2 cups or so of brocolli, cut into bite sized pieces 1/3 c honey 1/2 c worcestershire sauce 1 pckg Sun Bird Beef and Brocolli seasoning mix 2 T soy sauce 1/2 c. water leaf lettuce out of the garden After pressing the tofu, slice into 1/4 x 1/2 x 1/2 inch pieces. Combine honey and worcestershire sauce. Gently mix tofu into sauce. Put into fridge overnight. When ready, saute tofu, mushrooms and brocolli in olive oil until nearly tender. Follow package directions for beef and brocolli sauce and stir into tofu mixture. Cook until sauce is thick. Serve over fresh leaf lettuce. I ate the entire mix for breakfast but I only used about 3/4 each of the tofu and mushrooms. So, will make enough for 2 people if you put all of it in.
