Guest guest Posted April 14, 2002 Report Share Posted April 14, 2002 Tofu snack sticks Slice extra-firm tofu into slices about 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle on seasonings of your choice (like Spike or other seasoning blend). Lightly press it into the tofu on both sides. Dip tofu slices on both sides in melted vegan margarine. Then press the slices on both sides into 3 parts ground cashews or pecans mixed with 1 part dried bread, cracker, or cornflake crumbs. Fry in a dry pan until the coating starts to brown.
