Hi, I've just lurked here so far, but can't resist answering this. This is a very old scam called the Nigerian Bank Scam, in fact you could call it a 'classic scam'. If several large churches actually lost money to this *very obvious* scam, I can only say that their personnel were either (a) too dumb to be handling large sums of money or (b) dishonest or © both. The account is a throw-away account, there's no point whatsoever in writing to about it. The person will just open a different account next time he needs to send out his scamming email. Guest guest
About 100,000 people died in the US last year and every year because of iatrogenetic diseases. This means diseases caused by doctors. many physicians have good intentions but often their results do not meet their intentions. This includes mistakes by MDs. Maybe a wrong procedure in surgery, wrong drug, wrong dosage, etc. However, every single drug has a side effect. Western medicine is good with emergency care and surgery. It is sorely lacking in preventative care and chronic illnesses. Quite a few natural healers get much better results. GB It's far easier to write out a prescription than it is to spend time with someone and educate them as to the benefits of a healthy diet. And don't even get me started on the pill pushers. We, as a nation, are so over medicated and so many think that because a doctor tells them to take it, it's okay. They never question and never research. Which reminds me of a website that some may find helpful. They list a gazillion different drugs which are rated by consumers for side effects and effectiveness. Just reading about the statin drugs is enough to curl your hair. http://www.askapatient.com/index.asp Gurubandhu If you cannot see God in all, You cannot see God at all. Yogi Bhajan Talk is cheap.
