Guest guest Posted February 11, 2002 Report Share Posted February 11, 2002 Penne with spicy vodka tomato cream sauce 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 pound penne pasta, cooked and drained 2 tablespoons vodka 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley Directions 1 In large skillet, heat oil over moderate heat. Add garlic and red pepper and cook, stirring until garlic is golden brown. 2 Add tomatoes and salt; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. 3 Add vodka and cream and bring to boil.
