Karen * Exported from MasterCook * Exotic Bean Hummus Recipe By :John Ash Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups white beans, cooked 1 tablespoon Tahini 1 tablespoon garlic -- minced 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons parsley -- chopped 1 teaspoon mint -- chopped (optional) 1 teaspoon whole grain mustard 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sesame oil -- or to taste salt -- to taste freshly ground black pepper -- to taste In a food processor or blender add all the ingredients except the sesame oil and salt and pepper and process until smooth. Add the hot sesame oil and the salt and pepper to taste and combine with a couple of short bursts. Thin if desired with some of the bean cooking liquid, water or buttermilk. Store covered in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
