flaxseed meal

I was at my local health food store the other day and found bob's red

mill whole ground flaxseed meal. There is a recipe on the back for

bran flax muffins. There is a mistake! The directions call for oil,

but in the ingredient list it doesn't list it and so you have to guess

on how much to put in. I'm calling tomorrow to find out/complain, but

thought that you should be ware. By the way, I put in about 1/3 cup

oil and they turned out really yummy for a bran muffin. The other neat

thing about it is that the bag says that it can be substituted for

shortening or cooking oil in baked goods. So, I'm going to make a

bannana bread today and try it out. Has anyone else used this yet?

This seems to be great to get good oils and fiber all in one.
