Newbie - chicken

Hi,

Regarding " chicken " , The most " chicken-like " I've found yet is

Lightlife Smart Menu Chick-n-strips. Very chicken-like texture, cut

in little stir-fry stips. Slightly smoky, but not too overwhelming.

Good that way for stir-fry, pretty good in a casserole.

Yes all that fake meat stuff is salty. The trick in using it is to

use it more as an " additive " or a " garnish " , and not make it the

centerpiece of the meal.

Eventually you will probably wean yourself away from it.

Good luck to you in your quest for good health. I've been vegetarian

for a year and a half now and I must say it has helped me immensely.

i also like boca burger's chic filets. not quite taste like chicken but with plenty of marinara sauce & mozerella, they make great chicken parmesans.

Hi, I have bad problem with aarthritis.I have had 4 surgeries in a year.

Both knees a foot, and my spine. I found if I cut all animal products

out of my diet, I don't hurt as bad, and the joints aren't hot and

inflamed. I am still struggling with giving up cheese, even though I

make some decent vegan cheeses. Good luck to all as they strive for

better health. Carol
