Guest guest
My mom is about 50 pounds over weight, not so bad on a woman who is 6 foot tall, but she's having a lot of body pains... and is only 54 years old. So, I told her that if she lost weight that she'd feel better and probably alot of the pain would go away. Well, you know mothers, their children with advanced degrees couldn't possibly know anything, so she ignores what I say. She went to the doctor and told him what I had said. He asked if I was a vegetarian. I am about 90% veg and mom told him that. So, my question is, why would he ever think that? Mom lives in central Kansas, not exactly the veggie haven of the world. In fact, I would venture to say that there are no veggies in the county that mom lives in. It just confounds me as to why a doctor who barely knows my mother and has never met me would guess so acurately on that?
