I like my Demi too. I do agree that sometimes things do not last

well in the freezer, so I do double bag for long term storage.

Sometimes the bags just don't seal like they should, if there's a

tiny wrinkle or something. Another disadvantage to all those bags in

the freezer is that they are a pain to store in any organized way. I

ended up buying some of those $1 shoebox type of plastic bins to

store things. Works OK.

 

I've never had any other kind of sealer and have also wondered if

there are any that work better or perhaps have more durable bags. I

must say it has lasted, I have had mine for at least 12 years.
