Guest guest
Okay, I finally tried this, and will remind you these are estimates - if there is not enough creme to cover rice crispies, make more. If the creme is sticking terribly to your pot, add more butter. (estimated cooking time: 10 minutes) Rise Crispy Bars w/ Marshmallow Creme 1 tbs. butter per 3 oz. (half a 7 1/2 oz. jar) Fluff or about 3/4 cup [how the heck you get it out of the measuring cup is your own problem] per 2 cups rice crispies [this fills a 8x9 " baking dish about half inch deep] Melt butter in pot, throw in marshmallow creme (bang spoon against side of pot to do this) and stir until smooth, creamy [about 2 minutes]. Do not be tempted to dip finger in and try, is quite hot and sticky. Add rice crispies and mix well. Take baking dish and coat lightly with cooking spray or grease with butter/oil/whatever. Spoon mixture out of pot and into baking dish, flatten mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and put into the fridge for a few hours. Or ten minutes, but it'll still be quite gooey and not really like 'bars,' but man, it's rice crispy stuff, who cares? Celia
