I think all of them are here in the files already, but I can also repost them to you onlist. Easy Tomato Sauce for lasagne or casseroles 1/2 cup onion, finely minced 1 carrot, grated 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced or chopped 1 Tbs. olive oil 2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce 1 can (6 oz ) tomato paste 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried basil In hot oil, sauter onion and mushrooms until tender. Add carrot, tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add a bit of water gradually while stirring if sauce is too thick. Simmer longer if sauce is too thin. ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~ Slow-cooked Spaghetti Sauce 1 package Yves veggie ground round (other brand if you prefer, but enough to equal one pound) 1 medium onion, chopped 1 Tbs olive oil 2 can (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes, undrained 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce 1 can (6oz) tomato paste 1 bay leaf 1 Tbs brown sugar 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 tsp dried basil 2 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp salt 1 tsp dried thyme Hot cooked spaghetti In a skillet, saute onion and Yves ground round in oil until onion is soft. Transfer to the slow-cooker (crock pot). Add the rest of the ingredients; stir. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. Discard bay leaf. Serve over spaghetti. Yield: 6 to 8 servings *I always add 1 Tbs minced capers to this recipe and some chopped green peppers if I have them in house. ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~> Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning 1 Tbs dried minced onion 1 Tbs dried parsley flakes 1 Tbs cornstarch 2 tsp dried green pepper flakes 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp instant minced garlic 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp Italian seasoning Combine all the ingredients in a small dish and stir t o evenly combine. Spoon into a 6 inch square of foil and fold to make an airtight packet. Label with date and store it in a cool dry place for up to 3 months.
