In my school daze I and two friends had to shepherd the biology teacher, Bug Man, through the chapter on Evolution because he'd become a born-again Creationist loon and had, at the start of that chapter, announced, " Well we all know this is baloney so we'll just skip it, huh? " My friends and I said not a word, but stood up and went down at once to the office, where we reported to the principal that Bug Man was refusing to teach evolution on religious grounds, which was a direct violation of the law, and that if he didn't teach it properly and fairly we'd go not only to the school board but to the media. He called the teacher down and told him to teach it and then my friends and I ushered everyone through the chapter because the twit kept trying to subvert things by teaching it incorrectly, etc. What a world. I was taught by penguins, but they happily implied that evolution was set up by you-know-who so there was no conflict. Hah!
