Guest guest
The first cookbooks Linda did expressed their dietary choices in a more lacto-ovo hinterland cuisine style, which is charming and accessible for many people when they enter into a vegetarian lifestyle. I am quite sure they both moved into veganism, but in a natural process of evolution, much like many of us. Her later cookbooks have more vegan recipes than lacto-ovo, though she didn't try to preach or discourage that type of vegetarian. I rather feel that is the best approach in many ways to people who live outside the vegetarian lifestyle. Being compassionate to all, even those we consider ignorant of animal cruelty, and showing them by our example that living as a vegetarian is doable, fun and especially delicious at meal time. From what I have heard recently, Sir Paul is quite fond of the raw food cuisine trend. ~ PT ~ Of course, it's possible to love a human being -- if you don't know them too well. ~Charles Bukowski, writer (1920-1994) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~> , " ~Janice~ " <serenity1@m...> wrote: What I wonder about is this: He's an animal rights activist. I think he must know about the terrible way the animals are treated in the meat and dairy industry. Why do you think he hasn't gone vegan? That really bothers me. I'm a relatively new vegetarian and I try to stay away from all food that has animal in it. Cloths too for the most part. > > ~Janice~
