Guest guest
Well, the basic difference is the kind of high one gets, obviously. Some are hooked on one kind of intoxication or another, that's all. All drugs are drugs, I'd agree, and most of the illegal ones are that way for political, not medical, reasons. Why can't a free and responsible individua indulge in the drug of his or her choice without worrying about law? Control and profits, pure and simple. Which is how politics get involved. However, from a health standpoint, I'd advise against any drug that alters one's perceptions, on the grounds that our perceptions are all we have when it comes time to decide things that may end up being a matter of life and death, or at least a good sandwich versus bad shoes.
