Guest guest
I am planning a long Motorcycle trip and am in need of some good thick boots. I think I will go with a Cordora(?) jacket w/ Kevlar Armor. Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find fake leather boots? Does anyone know if they are thick and durable? Any suggestions. Thank you Kel
Guest guest
sorry if this is of no help, but it's called " pleather " and it's made of plastic, so i assume it's if anything more durable than leather.. not having any desire to own it, i can't tell you personally. you may have to go to an online store, depending on where you live... , " Kelly " <kheli@c...> wrote: > I am planning a long Motorcycle trip and am in need of some good > thick boots. Guest guest
payless.com sells Stanley brand [the company that makes decent hand tools] steel-toe black work boots. They are non-leather and very rugged. Sometimes payless has a sale where the 2nd pair is half price. The regular price is about $20. They also have other kinds of non-leather shoes and boots. My son and I have matching Stanley boots and I'm very happy with them. BTW, Bass outlet stores often have non-leather canvas, rubber sole shoes that are better than most. Be kind. Be of good cheer. I was very disappointed as they look good and they are inexpensive, but they don't seem to be very practical. Paul --
