I am leaving for a few days on a bit of a vacation, so I won't

be around or have access to the internet. *gasp*

Going to Monterey and Carmel; been assured by a friend that

it is very veggie-friendly down there. :)

If you need anything list-wise, Shawn will be here to assist.

You can contact him using his address you see on his posts

or directly by emailing us both via:

In Monterey check out Tillie Gort's on Lighthouse. Excellent vegan

chocolate cake. Also, walk to the end of the old wharf, past the

coast guard ship, and check out the seal (seal lion ?) colony on the

rocks at the end.

And if you have time it's not far up the freeway to Santa Cruz,

unofficial vegan capital of the world.

Have fun,

Paul

Thanks Paul. Oddly I didn't read this post of yours until

just now, but I did manage to eat at Tillie Gort's

and I saw the sea lions. I didn't have enough room after

eating dinner to try the vegan chocolate cake, but I really

wanted to. I didn't get up to Santa Cruz either. Being the

only vegetarian in my travel party, I was lucky to eat at

Tillie Gort's I really put my foot down and got all stubborn

on that note. :)

Travelling is fun, but it is sure nice to be home again.

Heh - glad you made it to Tillie Gort's at least - well done for

putting your foot down.

Try and get to Santa Cruz next time - it's like going to veg*n heaven. ;-)

Cheers,

Paul
