Guest guest Posted August 5, 2003 Report Share Posted August 5, 2003 Whole Wheat Buttermilk Bread 2-1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1/4 cup soy flour 1/2 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup raisins (optional) 1 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup molasses 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain yogurt) 1-1/3 cup buttermilk In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients together with raisins. Mix well. In another bowl combine the molasses, sour cream (or yogurt) and buttermilk. Mix well. Combine the mixtures and mix well. Bake in a well greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350-degrees.
