Guest guest
Hey what a great group! I just joined and I'm looking forward to reading the posts and making veggie friends. Here's a little about me; I was a semi vegetarian most my life, my daughter sorta took after me, then she went completely vegetarian about 3 years ago and I struggled behind her because I was not willing to give up seafood, then about a year ago she decided to go Vegan and finally got me to go Vegan too after she gave be these little books to read. Now I have no problem giving up all meat because I know the suffering the animals go through. Actually I wish I knew before, I would have been Vegan sooner. So....now we eat dishes usually made with soy or tofu, trying this kind and that kind. Of course it's easy to eat vegan at home, but going out is sooooo hard! Here's a some of our favorite dishes: spinach lasagna with LightLife soy sausage and soy cheese Sams club potato cheese soup, it's like a powdered mix Amy's spinach " hot pockets " things, pizza is good too Veat Chicken with vegetables and rice, we like to add Tofu sauce fried tofu with noodles and cabbage in a light white sauce avocado, carrot, spout and soy cheese sushi-yummy! tomato dumpling soup well that's all I can think of, -christine
Guest guest
Welcome to the list, christine. I am PT, aka feral, and am a lacto-ovo vegetarian. Thanks for joining us and posting an intro. ~ pt ~ It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. ~Arthur Conan Doyle, physician and writer (1859-1930) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~> , " CheshireCatGirl " < i_love_cheshire_cat> wrote: > Hey what a great group!
