Guest guest
Hi Shawn/Group, Thanks for the email update *s Hi, I am new here. I was looking over the(e) mail..I can't say I can give it the time it may deserve this evening. we are about to make a fairly long trip at 9:50 PM and I am asleep *s It seemed some were picking topics, I am not sure. Some topics on :water; Coke; potatoes; product hygiene..etc. Having not (fully) read the mailings, I just wanted to say " Hi " *s to the group and make a comment or so. I think, and I can only glean, products like 'Coke " are merchandised much like " Mr. Potato head " (Ironically, one being a bit more " user friendly...) I don't know I have particularly " bad " memories of the days I drank Coke. I think the substances put in to addict people are possibly the worst thing..that and the connected sentimental ads, the " combo " .. I'd bet (And I do not " bet') many hamburger places etc. have habit forming things in their foods. Living very close to NYC proper, any water that is (fairly) safe and affordable is good.*s I hope this reply fits in somewhere in your group and is not " in vain " . I really had no time to look all the info over tonight. My apologies..to the contributors * I just wanted to pop in and say : " Hi, I exist " *s. I have no problems with potatoes..If John Merrick loved them, they're fine by me In any case, I'm glad I had a nap and a full dinner before I saw this mailing, as I was a bit queasy earlier. And the stuff about rats, is a thing I only quickly gazed at.. (It's VERY hot /humid in NYC tonight *s ) I do not know what brand water I am drinking. I think I drank sea water once and got very thirsty ..I'll try to stop by the website this week, if I am around and see ..just how the posts are run here. I think I've said " too much " . Have a blessed day/night.. P & W - Friday, August 01, 2003 12:13 PM Digest Number
Guest guest
Responding to both posts in this digest: I have even more recipes for fake cheeze saved in my personal files. I save tons of veg'n recipes of all kinds from my different e-mail groups and newsletters. There are commercial soy milks that do NOT contain carrageenan - for instance VitaSoy. You can also make soy milk from scratch, as Robert Cohen advises, and avoid this ingredient. He sells a machine called the Soy Toy on his website.
