Guest guest Posted July 31, 2003 Report Share Posted July 31, 2003 Photovoltaic cells are costly, but you can also do the old sun heated water pipe thing for convection heating and cooling -- flat tank in back yard, pipes moving through floors, wall, and roof. If you build your house from scratch it's much cheaper and easily done. You can also use PVC piping for it, light and strong enough, no rust. Check into it.
