hey there,

 

being vegan isn't very hard, but it does take a lot of label-reading if you

really want to go at it. things to avoid, foodwise, include:

-milk

-cream

-half-and-half

-casein

-whey

-eggs

-egg albumin

-honey

-beeswax

-issinglass

-carmine

 

this is a good, but not comprehensive, list. your best bet is to go on

peta's or vrg's website and print out a list of all animal-derived products.

you can then decide for yourself where you want to draw your line.
