I loathe it. Spoils the flavor of things, for me.

Actually, that's not surprising. Wayyyyyyyy back when, in one of the

many genetics classes I've taken, the taste of cilantro was one of the

things we talked about. I can't remember now just how it works, but

apparently some people experience cilantro as a very negative taste, I

believe because the lack of an enzyme (though I could be wrong about

that). It's actually a trait that can be tracked genetically. I'm a

cilantro lover - more is better! - which is why that tidbit of

information seems to have stuck in my head for all these years.

 

So, you're not weird Gene, you're just recessive! LOL
