This weekend I did some white water rafting

and tweaked my back a bit; or at the very least

my muscles are voicing their displeasure! It is

improving, but just thought I would touch base

with the list to let you know why I have been a bit

more silent.

 

Also, tomorrow afternoon my mother arrives for a

15 day visit. She lives back in NY, so will have a

long trip across the country to our little boondocks

of Oregon. I need to come up with some idea for a

nice dinner I can set to cooking in a crockpot, that

might appeal to a weary traveller. If I can't manage to

figure something out (suggestions welcome!), there

is always takeout Chinese or pizza! *lol*

 

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and staying

cool. It has been so hot!
