Guest guest
PT got me thinking of my most fave summer food. Heck, it's a little heavy on the carbs, but with all the hikin, boatin, swimmin, and gigglin, it's perfect for a camping trip... Fired Potatoes 12 Golden Russet or other baking Potatoes 6 Large Sweet Onions 6 large cloves garlic olive oil tinfoil or aluminum file 1 roaring campfire slice potatoes into 1.2 - 3.4 inch thick slices Slice onions into 1.4 - 1.2 inch thick slices Alternate layers of potatoe and onion until you have an entire potatoe pieced back together. Crush garlic and sprinkle generously throughout potatoe/onion Brush with olive oil and wrap in foil Throw INTO the fire and let cook about 40 minutes or until completely soft. Serve with salt and pepper and enjoy the great outdoors!
