Guest guest
This was a really easy and delicious sounding recipe I ran across one day in a magazine. I had to up the garlic from the suggested 4 cloves to 6 to suit my taste, and also added the basil. Garlic Parsley Spaghetti 1 package (16oz) thin or angel hair spaghetti 6 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 cup olive oil 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley 1 tsp dried basil, or 1 Tbs minced fresh Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste Cook spaghetti according to package direction. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, lightly brown garlic in oil over medium heat. Drain spaghetti; add to the skillet. Sprinkle with parsley, basil, salt and pepper; toss to coat. Yield: 8 to 10 servings ~ pt ~ Failing organizations are usually over managed and under led. ~ Warren Bennis
Guest guest
This is an excellent recipe, and so simple. It's even better with 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes added. And don't forget the basil, as Feral suggested. Yummy! :-) --- Feral <terebinthus wrote: > This was a really easy and delicious sounding > recipe I ran across one day in a magazine. > I had to up the garlic from the suggested 4 cloves > to 6 > to suit my taste, and also added the basil. > > Garlic Parsley Spaghetti > > 1 package (16oz) thin or angel hair spaghetti > 6 garlic cloves, minced > 1/2 cup olive oil > 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley > 1 tsp dried basil, or 1 Tbs minced fresh > Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste > > Cook spaghetti according to package direction. > Meanwhile, in a large skillet, lightly brown garlic > in > oil over medium heat.
