This was a really easy and delicious sounding

recipe I ran across one day in a magazine.

I had to up the garlic from the suggested 4 cloves to 6

to suit my taste, and also added the basil. :)

Garlic Parsley Spaghetti

1 package (16oz) thin or angel hair spaghetti

6 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup minced fresh parsley

1 tsp dried basil, or 1 Tbs minced fresh

Salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste

Cook spaghetti according to package direction.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, lightly brown garlic in

oil over medium heat. Drain spaghetti; add to the

skillet. Sprinkle with parsley, basil, salt and pepper;

toss to coat.

Yield: 8 to 10 servings

This is an excellent recipe, and so simple. It's even

better with 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes added. And

don't forget the basil, as Feral suggested. Yummy!

:-)

Glad you liked it, and I think your addition of hot pepper flakes

was a great idea. :)
