Guest guest
Lucky for me I happened to notice your recipes. I'm sure there are others that simply get deleted due to this failure. (Unless they've been changed) I believe the group's guidelines include the instruction that all messages containing recipes should include [recipe] in the subject line. This group is so active that I only have time (most of the time) to read the recipes, so I have my mail client filter the messages based on this recipe subject line rule. Your messages both went to the general folder for all other " " messages. A properly created recipe message would have a subject line like the following one : How you type it -- [recipe] Haupia Pudding How it looks after being sent out by group -- [recipe] Haupia Pudding I bet I'm not the only person who uses filters -- if you want the largest audience for your recipes please include those extra six letters and 2 brackets in your subject lines (optional for me really, filter works both ways). Thanks for letting me rant a little. I love this group. Guest guest
Thanks for this reminder, Philip. In the event Lori doesn't read the list very often to see this message, I will send her an offlist reminder about highlighting which posts are recipes for those of you who only have time to read those and not all our topics. I was away most of the weekend, so am just getting around to group biz now. :::coffeemug salute::: ~ PT ~ Nor to have worked with patient brain In senate or in mart, To have gained the meed which those attain Who have played their part, -- Effort is fair, success is sweet, But leave life incomplete. ~ Lewis Morris; At the End; The Works of Sir Lewis Morris; 1902 ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~> , Phil Musgrave < philmusgrave@a...> wrote: > Lucky for me I happened to notice your recipes.
