CHICAGO CHICAGO CHICAGO!!!! speaking as someone who moves around a lot and

has lived, in addition to many other places around the country and the world,

in new york, chicago, AND los angeles, chicago is not only my absolute

favourite city in the world, but it also is the home of vegetarian express

gourmet,

which is quite possibly the best vegan restaurant i've ever been to. (how's

THAT for a run-on sentence? :) )

there are also several other GREAT veggie restaurants in the chicago area

(amitabul and chicago diner to name two). it's not what i'd call a " veg city " ,

but it's a darn fine place to be a vegetarian.
