Southern-style sweet tea

Last night we went out to eat at a southern-style BBQ

place here in town; they do serve a veggie burger for

folks like me and assured me it was cooked quite separately.

They have like 6 or 7 different BBQ sauces on the table

to try on your food and they make a wonderful coleslaw

salad. Now usually I will order a regular iced tea, but last

night I tried their sweet tea and it was wonderful.

To me it tasted like it contained honey. (?) I have some recipes

for this that were shared last year by some of our members

from the Southern US, but I don't recall any of them using

honey. Perhaps my palate was being fooled.
