Guest guest
i usually tell people NOT > to take supplements (except for calcium, as most people don't get enough) Really? I've heard so many conflicting theories about this one. I've heard it said that it's not that we do not get enough calcium, but that Americans in general eat too much protein which leaches the calcium out of the body. I've also heard that the calcium in dairy products is in a less-useable form than that in green leafy vegetables and other sources. I've also heard that too much calcium can create kidney or gall stones (one of them anyway). At one point I was taking calcium supplements, then I stopped. I just don't know what to do.
