yes and no-- it depends on the person. height, weight, metabolism, and

activity level all play a big part in how many calories per day a person should

eat.

 

be careful with fasting, especially for such a long period of time. why are

you fasting for a week, and how often do you do this? if you're doing this

for " cleansing " purposes, there are better ways to detoxify your system...

Of course. None of this stuff is intended to be absolute. I hope no one

sees it that way. We are all at different places in our health and our

lives. Considering those factors should always play a part in any diet

decision.

Thanks for the kind words of concern.

 

A week is what feels right to me. After 36 hours, the food cravings go

away. Detox is not an issue. I do it 2 - 3 times a year. In the beginning

I did it with the knowledge of my doctor. At 57, my health is so excellent

that I'm not concerned any more. However, for anyone with any health

issues, your doctor needs to be involved for any fast of more than two days.
