You like racist jokes, too?

 

Some people's notion of funny is offensive to others. Here's why I went

off on your remarks about metal and vegetarians -- it perpetuates the

nasty image of vegetarians as delicate self-indulgent little people too

fragile to eat REAL MEAT or to withstand REAL MUSIC.

 

Now, of course you didn't MEAN anything but to be FUNNY, ho ho, but try

calling a Scot stingy or an Irish person a drunkard or how about a

computer user a weenie?

 

Any closer to getting your ego out of things and seeing the point for a

change?

No offense intended to anyone but I think you are reading a little to much into

the joke. There is a difference between bad jokes or jokes you dislike as

opposed to offensive jokes.

 

Bring up that he likes racist jokes really has absolutely nothing to do with

anything... I don't really understand why you would even bring that up.

 

Can't we all just get along? Music is music. Everyone likes music of all

types. The " punk " with spiked blue hair and piercing can listen to Johnny

Cashes " Ring of Fire " and so can the guy with the cowboy hat. Music is for

everyone but its like picturing your mom at the Rob Zombie concert. It rarely

happens. So therefore jokes can freely be made about it and shouldn't be

offensive... BUT if for some reason it did offend you, think about this. He did

not intend to offend you, why not send a POLITE message to him personally

instead of involving the who group (this apply's to all of you... SHAME SHAME I

KNOW YOUR NAME)?
