Guest guest
Of course you can fast, that was his ridiculous attempt to kick my shins. Point is, however, everyone's body needs a minimum of good nutrition, much of it needed daily, in order to maintain good health, and eating enough is as important as not eating too much. To lose 95 lbs or more, and I'm in that boat, one must aim at taking off a pound or two a week. Any more can lead to ketosis and other problems, and any less means you're probably not exercising enough. Just remember not to fixate too much on weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. Often we're slenderizing and getting healthier but seem to gain a few pounds here and there. If your general trend is downward, you're doing fine. Don't be too hard on yourself, and how your clothes fit can be a decent indicator -- except for bloaty times of the month, etc. The other main thing is, don't focus on losing weight at all. That should be a natural side-effect. Instead, focus on changing to a healthy lifestyle of eating properly and getting enough exercise. Do that and all else follows. Maintain the strain on the brain and good luck. Guest guest
At one or two pounds a week that would mean fasting on nothing but water and exercise for over 40 weeks. Nah, no way...not for me. Lois SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month!
