Hey Nicole,

 

Good for you being brave and posting your food. :) I know that was a sore spot

for you, but you did it anyway! You have a " can do " attitude, now you just

gotta quit dogging yourself out, because you don't deserve that. ;)

 

I saw that you are hardly eating anything, so I don't think calorie intake is

your problem at all. The only thing that really stood out to me is that you are

only eating three times a day, and you aren't putting the concentration of your

calories at the beginning of the day. From what I've read, the best way to

kick-start your metabolism is to start the day with your largest meal, and then

to spread the rest of your calories into 5 smaller meals throughout the day.

 

Other than that, because you are eating so little, I think it's entirely

possible that something could be wrong medically. Have you had your hormones

and thyroid checked? I had a very good friend that was a size 2 and gained up

to a size 22 inonly a year due to having cysts on her ovaries. Also, I just

heard a story on the news today about a lady who gained 75 lbs in 6 months

because something was wrong with her pituitary gland. And I'm sure you've heard

all the sad stories about hypothyroidism and weight gain. SO, if you haven't

had a physical, you might want to get one just for peace of mind and to rule out

a major problem (and I know you don't have health insurance, so maybe you could

do some searching online for diseases associated with weight gain and see if you

have any symptoms).

 

I just think it's so bizzare that someone eating such a reasonable amount of

healthy food (not just Snackwell's morning, noon, and night!) would have such a

hard time with weight gain.

 

Anyway, whatever is going on, I hope you get it figured out so that you can get

on the losing path! :)
