Guest guest Posted June 16, 2003 Report Share Posted June 16, 2003 cayenne can increase your metabolism, as can green tea. but it is a SLIGHT increase, and if you aren't doing much else to help it along (diet & exercise), you won't see much in the way of results. there are no quick fixes. you should also not expect to lose more than 1-2 lbs per week (2 is pushing it) if you are doing things the healthy way. i am not a big proponent of the scale, though. if you are gaining muscle, you may not see the numbers change the way you'd like, as muscle is more dense than fat (it takes up less room and weighs more). instead, go by your bodyfat and your measurements. http://www.melodysmusic.net Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
