Guest guest Posted June 16, 2003 Report Share Posted June 16, 2003 hey heather, well, basically, people are not formulae, so that calorie formula is meant as a guideline; most people need to play with it somewhat. if you already know what number works for you, that is what you should stick with. i would definitely recommend that you start weight training 2-3 times per week. every pound of muscle you gain burns 35-55 extra calories (it revs up your metabolism). you should also try to find indoor cardiovascular activities that you can do, such as jumping rope or climbing stairs; anything that gets your heart rate up. let me know if i can be of more help. http://www.melodysmusic.net Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
