This comment reminds me of a great quote from Albert Einstein, which I have on a

bumper sticker on my car...

 

" It has become appallingly clear that our technology has surpassed our

humanity. "

 

And think about it - Einstein died in the 50s, right? And he felt this way even

then...when technology was in its infantile stage compared with now.

 

I am so truly sick of technological advances. Yes, I like my computer and my

cell phone and all that...but so much of the " inventions " or " advancements " they

hawk now are just useless and silly. I do not need to be able to send people

pictures over the cell phone! I do not need to be able to view only one specific

scene on a DVD! (I don't even need DVD...I'm still doing just fine with my good

ol's VHS, except for all the damn room they take up.)

 

How about some innovations that actually friggin' matter towards the betterment

and security of the planet and her children? Ah, but that's no fun to market!

 

Sorry - feeling spiky right now... Bring it on! Heh heh...
