Guest guest
Now I am not a huge fan of French salad dressing on a tossed green salad. However, my mother used to use as a brush-on for BBQ chicken, back when I was a pesca-polo-vegetarian during my teen years. She even used it on pork, but I refused to eat that even if it was considered by them as " the other white meat " . *bleh* Anyway, now I use it to brush on skewered veggie kabobs and also to brush on vegetarian unchicken cutlets. Very yummy. French Dressing 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup water 2/3 cup ketchup 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp salt 1 small onion, quartered Combine all ingredients in a blender container. Cover and blend at medium-high until well mixed. Chill before serving. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
