Guest guest
I think fresh is most often the best thing to buy. However, in some cases frozen is better because as soon as the fresh veg is picked it is frozen and so retains that freshness. So veg like peas, sweetcorn, green beans etc are fresher and better for you if they're frozen. In a some of stores near me some of the veg looks a bit dodgy anyway so if i need something specific and its looking a bit brown i buy frozen. Guest guest
I agree that frozen is fresher. definitely! I saw too much when I was a trucker.......that " fresh " stuff is OLD! I would only consider " fresh " produce to be *fresh* if [and only if] it came from a local farm. As for [commercially] canned; too much sodium...I stay away from it, if at all possible. ~Pixx Vegan Vixen wrote: > in some cases frozen is > better because as soon as the fresh veg is picked it > is frozen and so retains that freshness.
