Yep. I can. Pickles, jam, jellies, relish, chutney, you name it. I don't

do nearly as much as I used to when the kids were young but I still do a bit.

My favourite is corn relish and bread and butter pickles with lots of onions.

The best!

Pickled green tomatoes. Last year I bought a gallon jar of Heinz whole pickles;

when they were gone, there was a 1/2 gallon of pickle brine left over. I heated

that brine to pickle a few quarts of thinly sliced green tomatoes. They are

great on veggie burgers; they taste just like Heinz pickles. Separately I canned

many quarts of green tomato chipotle salsa, which resembles the green house

salsa of La Hacienda in north Dallas.
