I have a " heart of romain " salad with a raspberry vinaigrette, steamed baby

carrots a large, fluffy baked potato and some sliced veggies on the side.

Surprisingly, most big restaurants have a wide selection of foods that a veggie

can h ave and a great deal have vegetarian burgers, balls etc. Kelsey's, one of

my favourtie places has the best veggie grain burger that I have ever eaten.

It comes with a myriad of roasted vegetables, a marvelous bun, not your

regular hamburger type bun, and a big thick ring of red onion. It marvelous.

You mentioned it is a fancy restaurant. I believe (generalization) that you

are going to have more luck with fancy restaurants that have Chefs and Sous

Chefs (assistant chefs, chefs in training, second in command) who have

studied their art, have a vast selection of ingredients and are aware of

many diets, as oppose to the chains (Bemmigans/Chillees) which consist of

cooks who may have limited resouces....I believe a lot of their products

come pre-prepared as oppose to fresh...not for sure though.

Good luck, I hope you have a good meal and enjoy yourself.

(Just to clarify, this is not any disrespect to any cooks out there....there

is no way I could handle being 'in the weeds'!!)
