These are the No-Yolks that I've seen before in the supermarkets. The link

also shows a comparison nutritional chart between no-yolks and those noodles

with yolks. MMM and I agree, that recipe which PT posted does sound

good....I agree with the fresh spinach wilted and tons 'o garlic Pat,

yummers.

Yall have a good week,

What is

NO YOLKS is a Cholesterol Free Egg Noodle Substitute. What exactly does that

mean? NO YOLKS is similar to whole egg noodles, only better - much better.

NO YOLKS are 100% cholesterol free. We achieve this highly desirable

attribute by completely eliminating the egg yolk. The egg yolk contains all

the cholesterol. The egg white has none.

Does the elimination of the egg yolk result in a truly significance

cholesterol reduction? Indeed it does. A single medium size egg contains 240

mg. of cholesterol. The suggested maximum daily intake of cholesterol is 300

mg. Now consider that a 2 oz. (dry) serving of whole egg noodles contains 54

mg. of cholesterol. That's relatively high compared to an 8 oz. glass of

whole milk which has only 32 mg. or an all beef hot dog which as 25 mg.

How does the elimination of the egg yolk affect the taste and performance of

the noodles? Only in the most positive ways. NO YOLKS cholesterol free egg

noodles look like, taste like, and are just as nutritious as whole egg

noodles.

Additional egg whites are added to improve the taste and texture of the

noodles and bring the nutritional value back to that of whole egg noodles.

To give NO YOLKS an eve more appetizing color, we add yellow corn flour.

Most people find that this even enhances the flavor.
