Janice, I buy my bagels at the Chesapeake Bay Bagel Co. or Einstein Bros. I have found that MOST freshly made bagels are Vegan - *as long as you don't get the egg bagel. If you have a bagel place near you, you can call and ask the Mgr. or ask the Mgr. when you go in. Another plus is most have no preservatives.
