My DS is ADHD and Early Onset Bipolar and after fighting it for a long

time....on meds. More than the first doctor has told me his diet is very

important

so I would say that this is in line with topic. Along with needing a healthy

diet we must be aware of his weight gain and loss due to side effects of his

meds. Although he is not totally veggie we eat more veggie meals than not and we

certainly don't need any more hormones from tainted meat. I'm always looking

for kid friendly veggie meal ideas

that are filling and pleasing to the eye from a kids point of view. DD who is

veggie dreads nights when they aren't totally veggie.

There is a lot of speculation that many children's health problems are

enhanced from the antibiotics and other things given to meat animals. Keeping my

kids away from these is very important to me. Finding good veggie ideas are too!

I agree with you. Diet does have a lot to do with the symptoms of ADD and other

illnesses. I think the drugs and hormones they put in the meat and dairy can

worsen the symptoms.
