Guest guest
Yes, L-taurine is necessary for cats, and can contribute to retinal decay. This, from http://www.vegsoc.org/info/catfood.html " If you do decide to give your cat a vegetarian diet, then a supplement is available from: Katz Go Vegan, The Vegan Society, 7 Battle Road, St.Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7AA This is a powder which can be added to your cat's meals. " Like B12 and other vitamins and nutrients, L-taurine can be supplied to cats via supplements. It's obviously cheaper and easier to feed them meat. Acquiring meat for cats while not contributing to the unfathomably sadistic and deceptive meat industry is the key. Know your source.
