Guest guest
For those of you who get sleepy after caffeine, I may have an answer for you. ADD and ADHD runs in my family really bad, so my mom has done tons and tons of research on it. She found out that caffeine (as a brain stimulant) has the opposite effect on ADD/ADHD people, in a way similar to speed (aka ritalin). Whenever she or my brothers drink a cup of coffee, they are OUT FOR THE NIGHT. And if you give them a caffeine pill? Nuh uh....fuhgettaboutit! As for me, I don't have ADD or ADHD, but I always go to bed after having caffeine not because it makes me tired, but because it makes me incredibly ill. I guess if you abstain from caffeine, when you do have some, your system can be really sensitive to it. SO, if you are caffeine teetotalers, then maybe that's the problem, too. Anyway....just some things to think about! Malinda ________________ Visit my web site! http://geocities.com/stellavoce Free online calendar with sync to Outlook. Guest guest
AD/HD runs in my family too. Caffeine doesn't really put me too sleep. What it does for me is help me stay a little bit more focused.
