Guest guest
We go through phases like this with my boys, too. I have three, 11, 13, and 16 (almost 17). Sometimes we throw away huge loads of salad, other times it'll be fruit. Usually my youngest is a fruit-hound, though, and I like it, too, so mostly It gets eaten. Bagels often mold before my eldest son, who insists on them, can get around to eating them. Other times he'll snarf them down in a day or two, almost like binge eating. Overall we do pretty well, but it's variable. And we're all lacto-ovo veggies except my eldest, who is Vegan. Guest guest
Where do you get vegan bagels? I want to be a vegan, but I don't know where to get bagels and other bread products without milk and eggs. I've only been a vegetarian for a little over a week but after reading the article about what goes into milk I can't stand the thought of consuming it anymore! Guest guest
Janice, I buy my bagels at the Chesapeake Bay Bagel Co. or Einstein Bros. I have found that MOST freshly made bagels are Vegan - *as long as you don't get the egg bagel. If you have a bagel place near you, you can call and ask the Mgr. or ask the Mgr. when you go in. Another plus is most have no preservatives. My favorite toppings are peanut butter and jelly. =o) In a message dated 6/1/03 1:10:35 AM, writes: << Re: Kids Are Unpredictable Where do you get vegan bagels?
