This is what the Dalai Lama has to say on the millenium, which began

14. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.

 

15. Be gentle with the earth.

 

16. Once a year, go som place you've never been before.

 

17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for

each other exceeds your need for each other.

 

18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

 

19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

says pass along or...'cause I won't. I makes me feel manipulated and grumpy.

I fully agree. I do so loath the " pass it along "

ending to these otherwise harmless and nice

sounding emails.

 

As listowner, I apologise to you and all the others who

this annoyed for this slipping through

the cracks and making it to the list. Since it already

went out in the digest, there isn't anything I can do to

expunge it.

 

To Stan, feel free to post interesting items and encouraging

thoughts you enjoy in the future, just please remove the

" pass-it-along " ending that makes it essentially an

annoying chain letter. Thanks.
