Guest guest
Greetings all Milk really isn't all that good for you. I try to use soy milk when I can. Someone said they poured some over their oatmeal. I actually make it with oatmeal. I use a cup of liquid in making my oatmeal. I pour a little soy milk in and the rest is water. It really gives the oatmeal a nice roundness to it. In the past couple weeks I have discovered a new brand of soy milk called 8th Continent. So far, it is only available at Publix in my area. It is sooo good!! I like the plain and vanilla for smoothies and oatmeal. The chocolate tho is absolutely amazing. To me it tastes like the liquidy part that's at the bottom of milkshake. I think it'd be an easy way to give soy protein to a kid. It really tastes like chocolate milk. I really like some of Gardenburger's stuff. I always have in my freezer their 'sausage patties', 'meatballs', and riblets. 'Meatballs' are good in spaghetti, lasagna, or like a meatball sandwich. Lately, my fav way of eating Riblets is to shred it up and put on a homemade pizza with onions, peppers, corn, and garlic. P_t...I want to personally thank you for a fabulous dinner tonight. I'm still in the process of moving and have been attempting to rid my cabinets of food. Your recipe posting to 2 got me ta thinking I have some brown rice, lentils... I made an alternate form of your Kosheri that was well received. I kept hearing I can't believe this is just lentils and rice!!! I used your standard recipe except I cut everything in half but the garlic and onions. I didn't add the tomato sauce or vinegar, but instead used half a jar of Tomato, Garlic, & Basil pasta Bake sauce. Have a good day all, karen
